Simone Bellan
Graduated in industrial Design at IUAV, University of Venice.
Honourable mention at the “Lucky Strike Junior Designer Award Italia 2004”
with the project “Flashope, eco-designed temporary shop”,
later selected and published in the “20° Premio Compasso d’Oro ADI–
Progetto Giovane” and exhibited at BICA 2006 in Venice.
In 2005 he was selected for the first “International Workshop Venice-Glasgow-Bruxelles”, organised by Martine Bedin. Specialised in Product Design, he graduated with highest honours in 2006. His graduation thesis “Calore Latente” is showed in several exhibitions: Abitare il Tempo (Vr), Roma Design + (Roma), Inno Design Tech Expo (Hong Kong), 11th Biennale di Architettura di Venezia / Eventi Collaterali.
He was a Tutor when he was invited at the first “San Marino Design Week” workshop in 2007 at the Republic of San Marino University. He was a researcher at IUAV – Department of Nano Design – during 2008-2009 with the project Design and nanotechnologies for packaging.
In April 2010 his project “Agripod” is awarded with the “Festival della Città Impresa” prize.
He is ADI and BEDA member, freelance designer since 2006, claDIS and claSDIP coworker teacher at IUAV– University of Venice and tutor of pilot-projects at the same University.
